well from time to time i do like to try my hand at other things,
it may work, out or my be a bust,:confounded::confused:
what I,m trying to do is a figure from the movie, kick ass ,of hit girl,120mm,
so made a start on her, with a wire arbitrary ,then foil, then add the sculpey premo, one my simple shape and base ,
is set,can start ,to add the clothing,so not ,to concurred ,about how she is real look,as long in my size,
some will be done with green stuff, and the other with ,the premo,:rolling:
well this is what I,m hopping will happen,if not I,can only cock it up,so to say,
do hope you like my idea,:relieved:

Hi Monica,

Very brave of you to sculpt a figure from scratch. It's coming along well. I have only tried sculpting figures once in 1/35 scale and it was for the Shizuoka show. I was pressed for time if not I would have done it better. At the beginning it looked like disaster. This was my final effort...

It's the two little kids in the middle. The rest are modified kit figures.
And this was when i thought they were disasters...

Hope these give you encouragement.

Cheers,
Richard

very nice going with the,two wee ones,do like them,
I find the hardest part being the face,s ,well done on them,:smiling::thumb2::thumb2:

I did these some time back, made the two bear cubs, and the zombie hunter girl, which was fun,
the top one is from an old pic,I saw,,as to me these,s wheels look like panzer wheels,

don't think its ,oh so bad,as it dose fix into ,what i was using, maybe the body a little long,?:sad-face: but think i can get away with it,
was going to try and do the head,/face in sculpey ,but think ,I will use green stuff for the face, hands and boots,so thinking.
well I,do hope you like the progress so far, just won,t to get a feel for things,:relieved:

Hi Monica
I think sculpting figures is the hardest thing to do so well done for giving it a go. What you have done so far is excellent. I know some people use resin heads as that part is so difficult but you look to be doing fine. I love the two bears :thumb2:

ta for the kind words,Jim,Have have been going over that in my head, all day, with heads and hands if i had someone to make them ,then make a mold,
in 1/35 you can find hands and heads easy,I real don't know what scale this is,to look, never been good at that type of math :face-with-thermometer:
I know a guy,I see from time to time,I call him the master,as he is just great at everything,he dose work for Nic,at eureka miniatures, his name is costa,[ if spelled right ]
great guy as well,
so glad that you like them had fun making them,:smiling:

Hi monica , its fantastic that youve decided to have a go at your own figures, im sure youll do a fantastic job. Looking forward to the progress , cheers tony

Monica,
The bears are great and so is the progress of whats her name from the Kick Ass movie. Sometimes I give a name to my figures rather than figure one or two for easy reference and describing in the post.

Cheers,
Richard

These two in overalls were intended to be painting a 35th tank in whitewash but never got finished

Very frustrating but as you say the more you do the better things get
