Thanks chaps.

The figures are from Dark Sword and I also have some from Frostgrave. The Dark sword are very nice and measure about 30mm except the mouose who seems to come in at around 35mm.

We had an interesting visitor in the garden yesterday so another cliche is covered.

Now you’re just showing off......and I am very, very jealous

You're really letting your artist flag fly on this one John. Just outstanding. Love the savage mouse. Will the raptor be perched on the crenellation? PaulE

Anything goes for this type of build.

I decided that rather than build stairs to the roof I would simply make a little shack where the stairs are. Started off building the shack using lollypop sticks and coffee stirrers. Then gave it a basic wood colour.

I then weathered it with a product I found called Painted Barnwood Effect. I quite like the finish. Also added some celtic thingy.

Finished off with a metal roof, and stuck it on the tower.

Finally I did some more gardening.

I am leaving the right side open for the moment since I have some more stuff on order and I am not sure of its size yet until it comes.

Hi John
Love the figures especially Micky the rodent. Really looking good. The little stairs house on the roof works very well.
As for your garden visitor - stunningly beautiful.

Hi John just caught up with this one very imaginative love the hole thing the tower, the garden brilliant work.
Cheers Pete.

Truly beautiful John. I hope all is going well with the figures. Is this from you imagination or is it based on a photo??

Thanks guys. All from my juvenile imagination.

And now ECCE MUS !

I'm not sure if I will use him due to his being a little large, but he was fun to paint.

Thank you guys. I thought the colouring was a little weak in my first photos, so I put him on the base to try to get a better representation.

Enlarged the casting and the painting looks a little rough. It looks better at 35mm

Fantastic job....he’d look real if he wasn’t a six foot mouse with two swords :nerd: The face is especially good.

Speechless...am hearing Legion of Zelda playing in my head while looking through this. :thumb2: John.

Cheers,
Richard

Speechless I agree Richard. .
John from the realms of fanasty you bring an utterly brilliant piece of modelling , I take my hat of to you .
It has every thing, and more . That tree, the lights, buildings and the mouse , just perfection.

Messieurs You are all too kind. Still waiting for more figures to come in the post plus I ordered an LED Fire kit (Knowing that 453 is watching) still waiting to add that to the base. Meantime here is the famous Looter (See what I did there?) Steven Ray de Vaughn Esq.
