For anybody who just might be wondering if i have vanished etc, I have a good excuse

Sadly Julie has been diagnosed with cancer for the 2nd time. Huge shock and yet another kick in the teeth so soon after my mum. Out luck is sh*t

However after meeting the consultant, we were massively relieved to be told its low grade and can be treated hopefully with radiotherapy not chemo with other less horrible treatments also available. So we have to go back to the excellent Velindre hospital for this and I thought we had seen the last of it! Three or more weeks of treatment to come, to be fair the NHS has been superb and Julie's arthritis consultant truly wonderful.

So told you it was a good excuse, so obviously modelling has been put too one side. I will return.

Bob Julie

Sorry to here such sad news Bob, sending you both our best wishes and hoping treatment will get this sorted asap ..

As a survivor im sending positive thoughts to Julie

She comes first, mate.....look after her......we will always be here

Call in and say hello when you can

So sorry to hear that Bob. I can empathise as Zoe has recently finished her cancer treatment. All the very best to Julie and yourself from the both of us.

My thoughts are with you and Julie. A shock of a diagnosis but it sounds as if the treatment is less bad than it could be. We aren't going anywhere and Julie is your most important consideration at the moment.

Pass on my best regards Bob. You have both really been under the cosh for the last few years, so hopefully this will just be a bump in the road.

All the best to you both, thankfully the prognosis sounds very positive.
Been through it with my wife the past couple of years and know just how tough it is for all concerned

Wishing you all the very best Bob.We will keep your seat warm for your return.Sending your wife our good wishes and hugs from Richard ,Helen and Barnaby.

Family first Bob, everything else can wait.

🤞🤞 for Julie, hope the treatment goes as smoothly as these things can.

Take a bit of time now and again for yourself Bob, it will help you stay strong 💪 for Julie 👍

Geoff.

As we said in our mails Bob All the best to the good lady. Look after her. And yourself!
Apparently plastic takes about 10,000 years to break down, (thanks Greta). It'll be there when you get back.

Sorry to hear the bad news Bob, but at least it's treatable. Wishing Julie all the best.
Speaking of Velindre, in the days when radioactive implants (brachytherapy) were experimental and patients with them weren't allowed to leave the hospital unsupervised, I wondered if the detectors in the doorways would pick up my Dad's wartime watch with a radium dial - they did, and all the external doors locked and alarms sounded...
