Oh whoops see.

Difficult to see what is going on except that it has.

How on earth has that yellow thing managed to get itself through the wing.

That yellow thing is a wing jack.My guess (although I might be wrong) is the aircraft was being lowered off jacks and the right wing jack was let down faster than the left wing jack and the aircraft slipped off the r/h side. Doesnt explain why the gear has collapsed though.i will try to find out more.

They could be just trying out a new undercarriage :( :)
I think then, Ian, it is back to the drawing board via the scrap yard. Perhaps the order of "the sack" will be awarded.

My thoughts are that the fork lift truck was under the jet when it was reversed out and pulled the jet of the jacks. This is a freighter so no cabin furnishings. There are no engines and it looks like it has been in store so probably no fuel which means it would be lighter than usual.

As for the gear, it looks like the side stays have been removed hence the partial gear collapse. The removed side stays look like they are on the pallets on the floor.

NEVER employ Russain aircraft techs especially if there surname is jakov.

If in doubt, always blame the truck driver....

Any more info on this Rick?
Not really Dave. Just some discussion we had amongst the team. It's not a aircraft we supply the gear for. I reckon those gears were coming out for overhaul because of the side stay parts on the hangar floor and the cherry packers in both gear bays, probably to do the harness and hydraulic line disconnects.

Notice that the nose gear wheels are 90 degrees out too.
