Nice job Del. :thumb2:
I'm off for a delve into the internet now. Seeing your build has me me curious about the arrestor gear!! Seen the aircraft a few times but always ashore, never seen the arrestor hook deployed!!

Found a pic. I see now, the bottom of the rudder assembly forms part of the hook gear.Seafire_F_XVII_SX_336_wings_up.jpg

Cheers Waspie,

Yes, the hook lowers along with the underside of the rudder, you get the choice of it retracted or released on the model

Blimey, that's excellent,a fantastic finish there Del :thumb2: ,
.....and the background to the pics really sets the atmos... cracking stuff mate:cool:.

That's a great result Del. As Andy said the background in the photos really does your model proud.

excellent build Del, that's a mighty fine job mate.. the background sets it off perfectly,

Really looks great Del. Interesting wing fold on that one. Looks like it’s been caught “mid flap”……

Looks like a Helluva day at sea! Great Job on this one Del and a very realistic result. :thumb2: :thumb2:

Smashing job Del :thumb2:

I really like how you have added the background to the pics too.

Geoff.
