Well, here we go folks, It's finally finished.. (apologies for the shed load of pics)

The Airfix Sepecat Jaguar, built straight out of the box with resin exhausts and ejection seat, finished in her Gulf War colour scheme as Johnny fartypants.

Airfix have really re-set the bar as far as 1/48 Jaguar's go with this new tooled version,

It really does just fall together with the minimum of fuss.

Wonderful result Chris. I enjoyed watching it come together in the build thread. Excellent paint work and weathering, and that pilot completes it.

That is really excellent work, setting the bar for any future Jags, and the pilot and dog finish this off.

Beautifully done. What does the nose art say? My old eyes couldn't make out all the words.

Just caught this one Chris , fantastic work , love a jaguar especially in the gulf scheme. Beautifully built , painted and weathered, it looks a fantastic kit . I built the old airfix/ heller tooling a good few years back in the gulf colours and really enjoyed it but looking at yours the new tooling is a massive improvement.

thanks for the comment buddy, this new Airfix tooling is awesome, well worth a punt.

it says 'Buster Gonads and his unfeasably large testicles'...a character from a british adult comic back in the late 70's.

..lol

I wanted to know where the aircraft ended up

Seems it was disposed of and some one bought the airframe to turn into 'art' at the Tate in London

Dosnt look like art to me....... Looks like sacrilege to an iconic aircraft

Edit

She was the one who hung up a SHAR inthe tate

Sorry but i dont see how this is art since she takes something someone else designed/created and just puts it in an unnatural position and paints it

I must be getting old :mad::mad:
