I have been looking for the bond bug they seem to go for silly money at the moment
I’m a bit underwhelmed :sad-face:
I generally stick to 1/72 scale aircraft so apart from the re-issued Mosquito there’s nothing really that interests me.
There are some nice looking kits though so they should sell well.

landy is the wrong scale.......1/43 is such an odd scale

Aimed squarely at car modellers, then. 1:43 is very much the small-scale car scale, AFAIK.
I think the Ferret scout car is a must for me.
It’s UK model railway O scale (7mm/foot) as well. Gives it quite a market.
Looks like Katy has a new dress as well. That’s why mine doesn’t have a sprue C…….

Yes thats right jakko , 1/43 is one of the most common scales for die cast collectors , and Heller did quite a range of 1/43 kits years ago , lots of everyday vehicles ( mini , citroen 2cv ,Renault 5 etc , even such things as an Austin Princess ! )
Sorry, don‘t understand the comment? I didn’t say it was aimed at them, I just said it was a potential market for the kit. Airfix already have three car kits out in 1/43 and are releasing four more this year so they obviously see a market for them.
Plenty of resin and whitemetal manufacturers out there in this scale as well Tony.
The interesting bits for me: The Ferret, the Gannet, Oh an RAF Buccaneer! And the Austin as a truck.
At last you’ll be able to get your hands on a gannet Ian , looks a superb bit of tooling too , folding wings and open bomb bay . Some excellent kits being released by Airfix these days and their attention to things like the box art and choice of schemes is very encouraging , they seem to have got a real passion for the hobby again , cheers tony
