Good afternoon :thumb2:

Just finished another, my god wonders will never cease :tongue-out3:

This is my build of one of the 6 extra StuG Ausf A, built to equip a SS unit, the A2. Used the Dragon A kit plus these extras: hull side escape hatches, 20mm extra bow armour, brake cooling vents, different brake/steering hatches with no drivers shot deflector and thanks to Mike different gunners hatch

Blended the exhausts using rust pigments applied with a cotton bud.

Not sure if i have slightly over done the mud etc, one more decal disaster left to sort out!

Hi Steve, not too sure about that! Have rushed some of these to get them out of the way and made a few simple mistakes!

When i start the Dragon StuG, B. I will slow down!

Thanks all Bob

Hi Bob
Very nice indeed. You have every reason to be proud of that model.

Lovely job bob ,the mud looks fine to me , not too much at all . Nicely weathered and chipped , cheers tony

Nice work Bob everyones a winner as they say , I always feel panzer gray is bit of a enigma much like JRs 4BO , I like my panzer gray on the faded levi side probably totally wrong but who cares looks good and is fine with me ,please not a criticism but if gray is the new obsession change your tone between your builds will make your display queens a lot more stand up and look at me. Keep em comming looking forward to the next one . Dave

Hi Dave,

Appreciated!

Theres been miles of print regarding Panzer grey and is it that dark!! I agree that it was very dark.

All the paint i have, Vallejo, Tamiya LP and MRP are all dark. Biggest problem i find is that pin washes and grime streaking is very hard too see lol.

Seen a good few StuG models in a very pale grey or with a bluey colour, not sure about that? Of course very little colour photos apart from colourised ones.

I will be building the new Dragon B shortly, so will use Tamiya LP lightened, just to see the effect
