I have developed an allergic reaction to super glue as if I use any brand I will spend the next couple of days sneezing and a running nose so anything with PE is off the build list for a while.
Any help would be most grateful.

Two part epoxy will work more effectively, but not as quickly as you will only be able to glue up a few joints at a time.....when doing this I use blu tac to hold parts in place while the glue dries. The other option is soldering, but that only works metal to metal ;) Last option, use PPE. A mask that’s good enough for spray painting solvents should keep out isocyanates.

5 minute epoxy? - a bit messy, and you always make too much! I have heard that Gorilla Glue is pretty versatile, but I don't think you'll get any alternative with the speed of CA

Hi pete
bear in mind that you’ll need something that keeps our organic vapours and gases, not just particulates.

I saw a statement that Steve Zaloga uses kneadatite epoxy ( green stuff ) for etch to plastic.
I have used
Tamiya Cement
Tamiya Extra Thin
Pattex SuperGlue ( Lidl )
Micro Kristal Klear

All work to different levels of attachment.

A newer one to me is Gator Grip glue , getting some positive comments on webboards.
John did have a link on his site , but it's empty at preent.

As others have said above. Gator's Grip glue works. I use it when i want a little time to move the PE around or sticking PE to clear parts (canopies)

I've used the Gator glue with reasonable result, seems ok, at least it doesn't smell.

Another vote for the Gator Grip glue. But a heads up: there is a gator glue that is used for wood work and is an expanding polyurethane glue. Not the glue you need (all though excellent for wood work :-) )
So Gator GRIP. its a PVA glue that grabs quick and sticks like..... well you know.

Another vote for gators grip , I find it excellent and it gives a strong bond when cured , only problem is it’s quite hard to find and can be expensive .

I've bought a tube of UHU to try with photo etch.A tiny dab to position the bits and add a teeny bit of ca. later if needed.
Jon.

Gator's Grip, or Gorilla Glue Clear, not the ordinary Gorilla Glue as that expands and foams as it cures.

Peter,
Although I don't suffer from any reaction with superglues, family members do... I was recommended Gorilla Gel...odourless and user friendly.... Doesn't affect anyone in my home.
