Hi all

So after 5 months my assignment went in earlier this afternoon....and so I can now get back to modelling properly......this of course means that you now have to put up with me again rambling around on here!!!

In all seriousness, thanks for all the various messages of support, both public and private, they really have been appreciated!!

Results aren't published until 15th August unfortunately.

I'm sure it's a great relief to have it finished and I have every confidence that you'll pass with flying colours.

Well done andrew , I bet its been a tough five months , the assignment sounds like the hardest homework ever ! We’ve every faith in you though , you’ll nail it , cheers tony

Well done, Andrew. I bet you are glad that is all over. I haven't had to do that sort of thing for years now.
John.

Andy, that's a weight off your mind. I would keep my fingers crossed but it will be a walk in the park

Thanks guys and yet again a demonstration of the great place this is....and yes I am am glad it is over.

I hate think how many words I actually typed the limit was 2,500 but when you taking into account everything that was cut out, tweaked, adjusted, reworded and amended and then tweaked again it must have been at least twice that! Even though I printed the 'final' draft before we went away, I still spent another 4+hours going through it again ahead of submission refining it here and there!

Thanks again chaps!

Nice one Andrew.

Back to sniffing glue & paint thinner soon I hope?

Well done Andrew, what a relief that must be for you.
Time to chill now while you wait for the results :thumb2:

Well done Andrew, all that hard work, phew!!
Great news Andrew. Welcome back :nerd:

Thanks guys, glad to be back properly. Soooooo much to catch up on.

And don't worry, the JagdKitties have been jumped on well and truly.....better not tell the RSPA though....don't want to get in trouble!

Thanks again.

Always nice when something can be put behind you and get back to doing what you enjoy.
Well done Andrew.

Congrats on finishing the assignment! Time now for a well-earned break and some bench time!

Always good when it’s over Andrew. Well done mate :thumb2:
I did my OU honours degree over eight years so know exactly how you feel. You are a little fortunate to be doing it in this day and age though. My first couple of years worth of assignments were done before home printing became commonplace. Rewriting anything after editing was a real chore for the early assignments because I had to do it by hand. I always thought my first dot matrix printer was worth 5 - 10% on the final mark because I could put the time into editing rather than into the laborious hand written part.

Oh no, not someone else who can talk the hind legs off a donkey?! I live with a woman who can do that, thinking about it, she'd be able to talk the front legs off too! :tears-of-joy:

Well done Andrew, that must be a relief, anyway, that's enough of that, can't wait to see your next creation :thumb2:

Talking ain’t the problem Lee……it’s when they can persuade the legless beast to get up and walk afterwards you’ve got problems…..

Tim, I'm getting to the point of cutting my ears off and plugging up the gaps with the leftovers!
