Andy T's 1/48 Tamiya Swordfish (Papa 695's Build a Bi-plane GB)

That really is rather nice, well done mate!
Steve

You can be justifiably proud on that Andy, really spot on.

Top result Andy. Paint isn't bad, have you done a bit of painting before ?

That is definitely one to be proud of. Well done indeed Andy.

Thank Jim.

It'll have pride of place when I get my new display rack built.

That is sublime Andy! Fantastic photography too!

Sorry Im late, not sure how I missed this one but Im here now!

What a simply gorgeous build And a first for you? Excellent paintwork, as usual and the build top quality too! As for the Tamiya PE stay wires... Not your fault at all they look a lot better than mine did. (I gave up and used stainless wire!)
A model to be proud of. Maybe you would want a look at the Walrus (Shagbat) that Airfix put out a while back. Every bit as good a kit at the Swordfish (string bag).

I almost want to build another now, maybe the wheeled one next time...

Sorry Andy just a tad late ,most excellent truly outstanding.Dave
Thanks Dave, another build where the end result seems proportional to the amount of enjoyment I had making it.

Thanks Ian. Yes, my first biplane but not my last for sure.

I think you mentioned the Walrus before, it's on my list :smiling3:
