This is the smallest of the three aircraft I'll be attempting to make for this GB, and also the first to arrive through the post:



I'll include the obligatory sprue shot, although there isn't much to see



Freehanding the camo scheme might be a challenge

Cool, I've done a couple of tanks in 1:144 and although they were basic they were fun, still have a few more to do, as I bought x6 I think! Lol....

Careful andy , the one square foot will start shrinking to match the kit ! The trickiest bit of painting it is holding it - a finger and thumb covers about half the airframe !

I know you've done a few of these tiddlers. There are two canopies in the box but they are so small I'm not sure which is which yet lol

I figure if I break it down into small chunks, I won't be overwhelmed

So I made a start this morning with some clean up. I've also hollowed out the solid lump of the radiator cowl a little and bunged up the hole for the included stand with a bit of stretched sprue.

Looks a fun little build. I remember Ron Spanner doing a couple of these tiddlers a few years ago, Russian I 16s I think. He loved ‘em. Haven’t seen him around for ages though.

There was no interior at all for this so I made a little representation. Almost recognisable as a Spitfire cockpit if you squint
