For the middle child of my trio I've gone for a dependable Tamiya. At least one of the builds should be plain sailing!

A few more parts than the 1/144, but still quite sparse.

And a quick scale shot of the three together.

I'm still awaiting some decals to suit my chosen scheme, but I'd better start cracking on!

That 1/44 looks almost comical in the line up. Not seen the Tamiya 1/72 built before Andy, so interested to see how it goes.

Well Joe, it builds up very quickly as it happens!

I got the cockpit built & painted earlier today

Then the rest of it pretty much falls together.

There's a bit of final sanding needed on some of the seams and then I can mask the canopy and give it some primer.

The rest of the parts are ready for the wet stuff too.

That went together rather quickly Andy, looks an enjoyable build so far. I like the way Tamiya break down these aeroplane kits.

You're building these kits faster then I can read lol - looking good, have fun (y)

I had a devil of a job with the wing walk line decals. No matter what I tried they kept drying with epic silvering

So I bit the bullet and decided to paint them instead. It was actually much faster and easier than using decals in the end 😂

I have plenty of spare roundels so I'll add those tonight.
