Thanks. I keep looking at it and there's still so much work to do.Lots of detail in this kit for you to get your teeth into. Still marvelling at that engine.
According to 6r4.net, only 16 panels are the same as as the production car, with 347 unique to the 6r4, so very little lolI don't know if this interior is true to the Metro. But I can't help wondering, how much of the original Metro is in a 6R4 ?

When I asked one of the vauxhall mechanics about the BRDC cars he said the shape was the only common factor!!! Makes ya laugh really!!I don't know if this interior is true to the Metro. But I can't help wondering, how much of the original Metro is in a 6R4 ?
Thanks Paul, I put a fair amount of time into it and I think it paid off.Andy, looking very nice indeed the dash looks very convincing.
Thank you, I drew the line at the dials though! No way I could make those look as good as the decals. Fixing the dash to a heavy block helped keep it steady. That is truly exceptional detailing, you must have a very steady hand to paint those bits n bobs.
Ha ha, thanks. I had a hell of a job lifting it onto the bench for pictures :tears-of-joy:You do know it's cheating taking pics of a real 6R4 and pssing it off as a model kit!! Ha!
Thanks. I hope I can still see enough of it once the body is fitted.Well done Andy, great painting skills mate.
