Another 101st Airborne bust

Thread owner
Thanks Neil... I agree... its probably that I just found it a little over dramatic if that makes sense... but now I've put it together I'm quite happy with it?
Jason.

Hi Jason
That is a stunning result. Tremendous skill.

Thanks everyone...glad you like it so far...anyway whilst I wait for my plinth to arrive I thought I’d make a start on another bust... but not another Airborne....in fact it’s almost the complete opposite of Airborne....any guesses???
Thanks again!

Spot on Neil... I’m even going to have a crack at a tartan shirt... inspired by your Charge of the Scots Greys work!
Thanks

Hi all
Just a final footnote on this... I’m just back from a short break in Spain to discover:
1/ I now have to stay home for 2 weeks! ( oh no)
2/ a local lockdown as I live in Greater Manchester. ( oh no)
3/ My plinth has arrived ( oh yes!!!)
So I thought I’d just finish this off and post the final pics....

Nice plinth Jason burr walnut by the look, will match that unbelievable lifelike work.

The rugged plinth sets him off perfectly Jason. Hope you've got more in the stash to get you through the next two weeks.

Thread owner
Thanks all... sadly the stash is pretty much depleted but in any case, as SWMBO is having to work from home for the next couple of weeks I'm already seeing my spare time seriously depleted!!
Thanks
Jason.

Outstanding work Jason. The bazooka was the right choice. It could make for some excellent lunch breaks:smiling2:. PaulE

Jason, just seen this mate... keeping the discriptive comment tame and mild... bloody fantasticly bloody amazing!

Lee

P. S. Not how I wanted to describe this masterpiece, all my expletives would of probably got me drop kicked from the group! :smiling5:
