Brian's actual 1/200 Yamato build

OH BLOOMIN HECK Bri yes you got to be carefull with this C/A as i got some in my eye an spent the day in hos an nr blinded myself so i always wear saftey glasses now when usein that now have you freed your self ? as the best way if you cant get to warm water is to spit onto your hands an it will gradully free up as i had to when i glued myself to the table after the glue tipped over on the bench an along came me an sat down an put my hands on the table an well you know the rest
chrisb

Had a mishap with the thin CA glued not only my fingers together but also my hands to the table, thought I grabbed the thick and gave it a good squeeze :flushed:
Brian
Lucky you didn’t scratch your nose really…..

Hope you escaped the CA without to much damage to fingers and table.

The build looks good so far. What are you painting with?

Some progress for you, managed to get the CA off my hand, soaked them in really hot water......more careful now. I'm glad the rails are down was quite testing :smiling3:

These discharges were more difficult than I thought especially the smaller they got.

Coming along nicely (and quickly)!

Any chance of a closer look at the book? As in inside.

Ian can you be more specific there is 70 odd pages do you want history or reference? I'd like to keep the photo count reasonable ;)

All the best

Now photos of the whole book in detail would be a copyright problem. A mini review Type thing, what you,ou think is. Useful, relevant and will help a modeller.

Ok this is a small peak into the Yamato book I just got there is loads of history but I mainly got it for the reference colours/rigging and such.
There is a large section on models from 1/700 up to an impressive 1/10 which was professionally built anyway enjoy :)
