That’s interesting. Finish has come out well.
However, the more I think about it, I wonder how long it lasted in service? It certainly wouldn’t have the adhesion and toughness of modern paints, and there would be no way to repaint her unless she was either heeled right over (difficult I would think) or taken back out of the water. Friction would be expected to quickly erode the paint during sailing as well. Looks good though

Great job. You have retained the beautiful wood finish but the white hull really sets off the black, gold and wood surfaces.

I have to agree although I voted for leaving the wood as was.
