Well after a bit of thought and to coats of matt cote, it aint getting any less shiny, so I present my efforts it the Forums first group build.

It was Fun. So much fun that I bought a spitfire and a Mossy today!

Nice job ian lovely FW190 indeednice detail to it and lovely paintwork.

This is excellent Ian, you've got the weathering nice too. I think we only need two months build time on the next GB lol.

hi ian, congrats on being the first one finished,(i have only just opened the box!!!!!!!) and what a fantastic job it is!It looks so good in the captured colours and youve done a first class job of the paintwork not forgetting that the roundels were painted too! I only hope mine turns out half as nice , cheers tony

With all the 190 threads and post doing the rounds I have only just spotted this, sorry Ian!

Cracking job, and an unusual slant on the 190.

I didn't spot this either Ian. Must be my age... Anyway, congratulations on not only being the first but the first with a twist. I have said in other threads that the spirit in which you all have embraced the group build has been very encouraging. This build of yours Ian encapsulates everything, and more, of what the idea of a GB was all about. Not only have you done a great build but you have taken the time to think it through and come up with something to make it stand out from the crowd.

Great work and yes, you can do as many as you like lol.

Well I'm still waiting for my Dora, and I was thinking of a papagei, but loöks like there are a few of those already...Hmmmm.
