discussion Colours question.

Hi guys,

I'll shortly be starting the build of the Revell boxing of the Hasegawa RAF Phantom FGR2.

One of the finishing options is for a Wattisham based aircraft from 1992. I'm not far from Wattisham and remember seeing these planes and have also been on site there a number of times over the past thirty years or so with different jobs so i plan to build the Suffolk based example.

The colours are a two-tone grey finish but as usual, Revell only give mix details for their own colours. Can anyone tell me what the colours are called? I normally use Vallejo Model Air so would like to find their equivalents if possible.

Vallejo do a conversion pdf chart you can download. Will try and find later.

I have an airfix FGR.2 in 1991 falklands scheme, which appears to be the same, they call off:

165 - medium sea grey - BS381C 637
166 - light aircraft grey - BS381C 627
167 - camouflage grey (barley grey) - BS381C 626
