Some nice hauls there chaps, sounds like you had a great day out. If I came home with a lot like those above I'd have to do some very quick explaining...
Joe my purchases went straight through the front door up the stairs and up into the loft. I'm sure if this was an Olympic event I'd be at the gold medal standard by now. Wifey was all comfortable on the sofa none the wiser and when questioned how my day out had been and had I brought anything my reply Oooooo it was okay and there really wasn't much there but I did manage a couple of things ;) I just hope we never move house as my secret hoard will be exposed and then I will be in trouble for sure

oh you all make me so jealous,I have to wait till queens birthday weekend in June i think

to get some bargain --------- :( -----------------boooo-------------------------- :D

Having nicked most of the chairs from poor unsuspecting people in the near vicinity, we all managed to get together!

I asked some clown to take a picture of us....He was in a hurry, but managed to spare a few precious seconds to take one.

It turned out he was famous in the modelling world. He may be a good modeller, but he's useless at taking pictures!

I was quite happy just to walk around with the lads, but came across these two for give away money so.....View attachment 106147

These I 'won' during the smooth running raffle / swop session.

Ian, Tony and myself entered things for the comp. and tried our best to win some 'stifftickets' for the Scale Models Flag, but we were out manouvered and won now't!

Anyway, the main thing for me was meeting my mates old and new from S.M.

Thanks to those who brought goodies and organised the raffle.... and a big thanks to Gern for all his help rooting through almost every box, trying to spot a particular kit for yours truly.

Ron

Well I wouldn't call him famous, he was a member of our club and entered the competition at IPMS last year, he won some sort of Japanese award for his Gundam figure. I just thought it look like a Power Ranger :)

I'm sure I've missed some but will pick them up as I find them :)

Would it be rude to enquire how much you gave for the Meng Bradley and the interior set? I'm coming to the end of building the Academy Bradley, and must admit, I ain't done with this vehicle!

So.... Did anyone take photos from the show or where you all to busy scoffing Eccles cakes...lol

Some good kits have been picked up by the looks of it.

That's ok, I paid £50 in total, I know they do a version of it with the interior already in the box but having had a quick look the avg price of those is around £55 anyway

I know its a week late but Ive been busy , Heres my haul from Cosford , a very successful days shopping!! The 1/48 SU 25 UBK by OEZ is a lovely kit and was only £8 , the excellent 1/48 F84 Promodeler by monogram I got for a haggled £7 as the decals were no good (but got a set of Aftermarket decals for £3 from the next table!) , The 1/48 Revell (Monogram) F106 delta dart adds to my growing Century series obsession for £14 , The Revell 1/32 Mosquito was the one thing i set out to definitely get and was found by Dave and Ron for a bargain £15 ! Thanks fellas. Bargain of the day though was the two Monogram kits in plastic bags . These were complete with all decals and instructions just no box and I got the 1/48 P61 Black Widow and the 1/48 Starfighter for £10 the pair!! I got the F 14A and the soviet tankies in the kit swap . It was a great day as always , brilliant show and museum , and a meet up with some old familiar faces and a few new ones from the forum . heres to next year! cheers tony
