Custom 68 Volkswagen beetle

the first time it looked really good and I thought I could improve it and all I did was screw it up. I had to get a new body and start all over again.
Yup, that's exactly what my wife said ... :tears-of-joy:

Beautiful paintwork jonny , cheers tony

Wow, that's looking great, Johnny! Kinda makes ya wish they produced this color back then, that would have been wild.

Ruck On!

I can still see them, there small but there.
I'm sure any teething problems with the new layout will get sorted soon enough.

Yes, but there’s only three of the pictures there and another post. I posted about four pictures of the finish build. And I can’t see them anywhere.

I'm using mobile and couldn't see all posts till I changed some settings, happy to point you in the right direction if you need.

Very nice job using aerosol paints.
Often better and more convenient than setting up an airbrush for overall colour finishes on car bodies.
Now that aerosols for real car applications are acrylics in the main, they are eminently suitable for using on plastic models.
Plain colours are ideal for correctness, whereas the metallics can look a bit oversca!e. Not a problem for special finishes on custom cars or bikes however.
Also, many automotive car paint suppliers can mix paint colours for out of production cars and supply in an aerosol form.
