Hi All

Well after nearly 4 months I have finally finished the Butcher Bird. No real issues with this one even the 4 piece cowling went together well. I used the HGW belts for the first and was very pleased with the results. I have added undercart down indicators made from fine wire rod, the end of the Morane mast was made of fishing line as the original was too thick, the ariel wire was stretch spru as I have run out of lycra knicker elastic. All comments welcome.

Fantastic Vaughan and although its taken a long time the end result justifys the timescale as its a show stopper 10/10 a +++++++ I one day hope to achieve this kind of standard in my work I take my hat off to you well done

Simply superb Vaughan, looks like photo's I see in the modelling magazines. Perfect build and stunning paintwork. As you can guess it's a 5 Star from me. Cheers Derek

Excellent build, looks superb and a top notch paint job, 5 stars from me.

Very nice.

Tom

Very Nice indeed. The dirt in the wheel wells is nice, especially the dry brushing.

I need to experiment and learn how to do convincing chipping. I know there are several ways and what you did is very convincing. What method did you use please?.

Excellent job, even when you zoom in the paint work and finishing are top notch. Big five *

martin.

chrome work on the under carriage is very well done.

Thought you could not get better Vaughan but you have ! A great finish nice & crisp. Like the spinner very precise tied one of these myself & it is not easy. The blue near the tail which has a nice crisp edge.

Also like the weathering especially around the undercart enclosures. Very nice model. You are making it even more difficult for me to catch up.

Laurie

That is extremly nice. Very well done.

I assume that the photos where taken before you had put the antenna wire on.... ;-)

Five star build.

Ian M

Lovely job as ever. Tremendous paint job. I've got a crap connection so haven't been able to see all the piccies full size......but I will!

Cheers

Steve

Brilliant Vaughan, simply stunning. I especially like the light weathering on the spinner and prop.

Cheers

Paul

Thanks Guys for all your compliments, Steve in answer to your question I use Florys dark dirt plus some dry brushing with Humbrol aluminium.
