That's superb. The bubble top P47 is one of my all time favourites. 5 stars.

I like the not so shiny nmf. Seems more credible to me.

beautiful. nice job getting the wheel well covers in the right position!

One stunning Thunderbolt you have there Vaughan 5 shiney stars from me

Thanks Guys I appreciate your compliments, Jim I keep popping back to your finished build and admiring the superb job you did with the Alclad.

Obviously 5 Star job Vaughan, beautiful crisp build and paint job, well done. Cheers Derek

Really nice. What did you use for the nmf ? I've got a large project in the pipe line, which will be too much for Alclad.

Colin in the end I used Vallejo aluminium with a final coat of Vallejo gloss varnish, which ended up more like a satin coat. This work out well as I was after a duller dirty finish.

Fabtastic build Vaughan , I love a nice thunderbolt and this one doesnt disappoint!! The NMF looks great and the yellow cowling is a perfect contrast , 5 star job matey , cheers tony

Thanks Trey I always manage to struggle at some point during a build, but it's rewarding when you overcome the problems.

Looks absolutely fabulous. I like the slightly tired finish too. After your trials and tribulations with the nmf it came out beautifuly.

Cheers

Steve

Vaughan - that is one very nice Jug. I have not tried a NMF aircraft myself yet, you certainly have 'cracked' it, a great job.
