Hi all,
Here is my first attempt at making and painting a model in over 25 years.
It's a Warhammer Space Marines Primaris Invader ATV.

I used a combination of Citadel and Vallejo paints, the mud splashes etc are all Vallejo products and the plants/grass are by Gamers Grass.

The rocks/stones on the base are a mixture of grated cork from wine/spirit bottles, the larger rock pieces are made from herculite plaster broken into various sizes. My son who comes from an art background and is a qualified makeup and prosthetics artist made a sheet of herculite plaster then broke it up with a hammer.

These are the photos....

Science fiction etc doesn't float my boat, but I can still appreciate the work gone into a build. And what you've created here looks great. The used / weathered look stands out really well. I like it a lot.

Plus one on Peters comment. Great result for a return to the hobby. Onwards and upwards then…..what’s next?

Boom! 25 years and straight back in with that. Very nicely done.

I haven't seen many muddy 40k subjects but it really suits that one. A couple of Outriders to go with it maybe?

Thank you all for the positive comments, I was very pleased with how it turned out. I have a lot of advice from my son which helped me no end.

I've just started a Warhammer Lemun Russ tank and after that I'll be starting my 1/35 scale Tamiya British Churchill VII tank which was delivered today from Scale Model Shop, of course.
