I'm not getting new style in the preferences box either.Am I right in thinking 'Recent posts' are now included in 'New Posts'?.

If anyone wants a list of recent posts, click on new posts and the look to the right and you'll see Recent posts :) Adrian
I've just found the recent posts button. Thanks Adrian.

John deleted all the old styles so only the new one remains. Please refer to post #12 in this thread.

The only difference I can see is that there is no information under the posters avatar :)

White background with an ancient font is the only option now? I think the long winded method of finding recent posts is a negative feature of the new format. I had recent posts bookmarked, it was quick and efficient. Yes it's only another 30 seconds out of my day to seek it out but it's a backward step in my opinion. My post sounds negative but I don't see any positives in the change.

If you click on the forums tag, just under the wingtip of the Spitfire (well on my screen) it will show the fora that are recently added to.... If that helps any Joe.

Not really Ian, but thanks for the attempt. It only shows the previous 8 new posts and new posts in bold under each topic. I'm too lazy to search each forum heading to find new posts. One click was easier. I think I'll need sun glasses to view the new format for any length of time too!

I think I have solved my issue with the recent posts by updating the bookmark to the new page. With recent posts open I bookmarked it, deleted the old link and it seems to be working. Back to one click enjoyment.

I'm having no luck with this , I ca'nt find the recent post option at all.

Hi Trey. On the menu bar at the top, select FORUMS. On the sub menu below that bar select NEW POSTS on the right side. Then, just above the new posts displayed on the far right side is 'RECENT POSTS". It is not easy to see, as it is against a white background. Click that and you are viewing recent posts as before. I bookmarked the new page and replaced my old one which takes me straight to recent posts with one click. At least until it changes again.

I've noticed a small issue with it though, and that is the new or recent posts are not appearing in chronological order. Back to square one.

Thanks Joe ,I finally found it. Man this is really aggravating it seems I just get comfortable with a format then a new one comes along what a pita!

All these changes are a pain, but maybe it's just an age thing. Derek

Well.. I have no "recent posts" either. What worries me more.. I can't see my own threads when someone replies to them. I know that there are some new posts only because I'm watching those threads..
