The mk2 is a slightly different tooling from what ive seen geoff , the tail fin isnt seperate for a start , so maybe the cockpit is differently tooled too .Well done getting yours sorted Tony :thumb2:
At least I know that it’s a problem with the kit and not something I did wrong.
It puzzled me really as like I said I have built Arma’s Mk.II version and it went together ok
Geoff.

Thanks Ian, camo masks seem a sensible idea :thinking:Looking very sharp. A well detailed kit for its size. Fun starts soon.
I have bowed down and ordered a set of camo masks. I have painted a dozen or so Spitfire and no problems at all. The camo on the Hurricane is very much the same. but I just couldn't get the pattern to fit!
Cheers Tony, yours is coming on great :thumb2:Looking excellent geoff , im at about the same stage with mine , cheers tony

Cheers Andy, yours is looking mighty fine :thumb2:Yep, looking good Geoff:thumb2:
I'm at a similar stage with mine too!
Thanks Mike,It’s only tacked on so I may change it to the open one once the painting is finished but to be honest hardly any of the cockpit can be seen even with it open :confounded:Looking good, and after all that work in the cockpit you are going to seal it up - shame to hide so much work.
Cheers Lee, appreciated :thumb2:Nice updates Geoff. Aircraft looks great.
Thanks Mick, I’ve already started painting it so it shouldn’t be too long until the next updateNice work Geoff, look forward to seeing the colour going on
Thank you Ian, yep I managed to bash it into submission in the end :tears-of-joy:Very nice work so far Geoff, looking very nice, even with the fit issues it gave you.

Camo is beautiful. Your knocking this out quickMore progress to report
Underside has been painted with AK Real Colors RC-290 RAF Sky.
Once dry it was all masked off then the upper fuselage camo applied using AK Real Colors -287 RAF Dark Earth and RC286 RAF Dark Green.
Masking on.
Masking off :smiling3:
I’m pleased with out it’s turned out, there is a little bit of touching up required then onto decals and weathering :smiling4:
Thanks for looking :thumb2:
Geoff.
