Hi there,

my name is Joachim and i'm aguy from the southern part of germany.
I stumbled on this site by searching some impressions and ideas around the web.
Came to scale modelling after playing World of Tanks for quite some time and thought it would be nice to have some of ma favorite tanks from the game on my shelf.
After building tanks only for some months i now switched to planes and ships also.

My work is still average but i am slowly starting with the secrets of weathering.

I played WoWS also for some time, but only the pve-part and only up to tier 5 right now. Also tried WoWP but it didn't make it on my "games i play often"-list

I heard WoWP didn't really work out. I preferred War Thunder, though it's been a while since I played that one :smiling:

I've quoted you above as I'm in a similar situation. I'm an aircraft builder and after playing a bit of War Thunder, I now want to build a load of Russian WW2 aircraft - the only aircraft I seem to have any luck in when playing !

Good to read there are some more War Thunderers in here
What's your nickname btw? (Russian planes are good but there's some cooler stuff out there in the game ^^ )

I don't get to play too often, even then it's only in Arcade mode. I'm Vulcan1968, don't beat me up. I normally finish somewhere between bottom and middle of my team.
