Looks like a good project.

Post as much as you can, I am sure there are a lot of us, me included, that would love to see the conversion process.

Could you tell us about the brass and other extra bits?

Pulled up a chair and sitting watching.

Hi Harry

It is a very nice project and another kit that I have in the stash also. I take it the etch is the Flightpath set? Do you also have the flaps set?

Looking forward to an intricate and, by the looks of things, very detailed build.

All the best

Paul

Very interesting Harry, I also would like to see this come together, so like Ian M sat watching for any updates you choose to show

Yes it is the Flightpath set which comprises 4 brass sheets and some white metal parts some resin and a sheet of instruments backing.
Yes, I'm going to purchase this set myself when I get closer to the build. Still undecided on whether to get the Flightpath flaps or try and get a Paragon resin set (although I think there's a few copies floating around ebay now which put me off).

GR2? Do you mean GR4? I think there's provision for either a GR.1, Gr1.A, GR.4 or GR4A in the set

I might be wrong but with the shape of the screens I think you've already plumped for either a GR1 or Gr1A

This should be a very impressive beast once built and I'll definitely be tuning in:)

Cheers

Paul

No worries Harry, I appreciate the set is very comprehensive with loads of parts. No rush, enjoy the build and update us when you can.

Cheers

Epic!

Rather looking forward to this.

I've never seen so much PE. Have fun.............

Hi Harry

Nice progress with the Tornado and all that photo etch. You seem to be really cracking on I expected this build to be much slower but you've really got a motor on!

The cockpit looks really good, and I'm with you on the pin washes I always make my own too.

Looks a very fiddly build but you look more than up to the task.

Looking forward to seeing more

Paul
