My name is Raidas and I live in Lithuania. New to the forum, but have experience in scale modeling. Did a more than 10 years break in modeling and decided to try again. I was pretty OK modeler, even managed to win 2nd place (civil cars 1/24) in a local exhibition :smiling4: I was modeling civil cars and motorcycles, but now I feel I want to try something different. I own a SLA printer, and thinking that I can basically print any detail from resin got me excited and made me wish to scale model again. I want to try figurine painting, also WW2 theme sounds way more attractive than 10 years ago.
few pics of my done models (very little photos survived this 10 year break, not to mention models itself):

Hi Raidas
Welcome to the forum. Nice work on the vehicles and bikes there. Figure painting is a whole new game though. Plenty of good figure guys on here to ask for advice. What scale figures are you interested in?

Hi Raidas
A warm welcome to this forum. You have made some lovely model cars and motorbikes. As Tim says there are a few figure painters on the forum. Tim himself is the master of 28mm figures.

To be fair I'm not sure. I guess I can pick a scale by myself as I will be printing it anyway. Probably will aim somewhere in between 1/16 and 1/8. Still doing my homework, researching what paint to use, other materials and tools still needs to be bought. Good thing I kept my air compressor and airbrushes.
P.S. thanks for warm welcome

Raidas,
welcome to the forum. Loads of inspiration and advice here, and I know that there are several forum members who are 3D printing
