Hi all Bill here, my bro in law gave me the heads up about this site, Langy71. I am excited to view some of the work that's on here which hopefully will inspire me to try something new.
I build my fare share on scifi models, also anime figures and 55mm military figures. I am keen to learn more about boat and car building. This is some of my work

Hello and welcome to the forum. Loads of banter, help and encouragement here. You've got some cracking builds there.

Hiya Bill! Welcome and thanks for your great 'productions'! They look very good indeed!
Steve

Welcome to the forum Bill. Some lovely work so I'm sure your skills will easily transfer to other genres.
Jim

Glad to see you finally got here bro,
just watch out for our resident pyromaniac.. @John Race, he'll have you setting fire to stuff as quick as you can put them out ..lol,

oh, and prepare yourself for the obligatory cavity search by matron and her goon squad. (just to make sure you don't have any contraband items..(matches, lighters coal, firelighters) stuffed anywhere you shouldn't)
feel free to dive right in here, there's some most excellent builds and inspirational stuff to look at..
oh and tell my Sister, that now you're a member here you have to be allowed plenty of modelling time. it's in the rules..

Welcome Bill, I wish to point out that I do not set fire to every thing as Chris has said, :smiling3:but advice can be given should the urge to burn anything comes upon you .

Enjoy your stay.

Bill,
Hi. The exhaust effect on the Shuttle is cute :thumb2:. 10/10 for ingenuity.
The Lindt bunny model looks hyper-realistic too :tears-of-joy:
Welcome.
John

Hi Bill welcome to the forum. I paint GW stuff and other wargaming figures as fill in pieces when I'm working on bigger projects

I've been working on victrix highlanders and scot greys from the napoleonic era

Sounds good Bill. I’ve done quite a few Napoleonics in the past, but not many recently. A few years ago I did some Victrix British RFA that I thought were excellent figures. Also did some Perry French Carbiniers. Regarding the highlanders, are you hand painting the kilts or using Victrix transfers? Are the greys from the Heavy Dragoon box? What are they like?
