discussion hoarder syndrome??

Hi all thought I might start a page to confess to being a hoarder!!

a while ago there was a thread about stash and I commented on the amount I had well trying to sort out and heres the evidence !! and I admit my stash has got out control??? think I may be a psychological disorder lol,

thing is only been back into ,modeling coming on 2 years, and had no models at the start just cant seem atop adding to the collection,. I had to get them out as really need go Thu and get rid of some the impulse buys that wont really make, not that probably build all of them in my lifetime????

IM HOPING THAT ITS NOT JUST NME THAT SUFFFERS FROM THESE!!!!!!!

I have around 80 kits now and thought that was a lot, but you could open your own little hobby shop !!!!

And my missus thought I was bad with the 20+ kits I have.

That's a great little stash

I always find a nice sense of accomplishment when I find a good kit for a good price.

I think I have 7. But I do understand how some people just keep buying and buying. The bit I don't understand is why some people buy the same kit again and again. Can any stash-a-holics answer this for me ?

Gob smacked i thought 30 was a lot mind i am now getting kits for the sake of it being a kit not because i am going to build it so i might becoming a hoarder.

I think some people get the same ones so they can build different variants, I've built 2 Babylon Starfury's but have 4 more in my stash, partly because there rare and hard to get now but mainly as I want to do different versions of them.

That's some stash, I've got 4 in mine...simple reason being, if the kids don't want something, swmbo does, if she doesn't, the dog does, if she doesn't, the cars do! My stash building is on the back burner...unless there's a mega bargain going somewhere and that doesn't happen very often...don't suppose you're selling some off mega cheap are you???

its just annoying how it can get out control!!! well I sorted and only put hand full kits to get rid of?? hoped be more but don't know what happened, the building isn't to bad id did 50 builds last year and so far this year im on build 26

oh my what can i say, i do have a few as well, but you know what i think better spending coin on kits that other things,

like my other half,keno,poker, casino , and at the end of the day well ,dose not have a thing to show for it, i say at home,

with my paints,cats and a pack of nails and im happy,

and keep out of trouble,

it is like rising damp creeping up the wall -excuse the pun , my problem along with the aprox 40-50 kits is all the ancillaries ie books/mags by the ton hundreds of tins of paint/washes/pigments glues and the loads of tins tubs that I stick spare parts, ground work materials ie cat litter and sand not to mention the picture frames/mdf and sheets of blue sculpting boards 8x6 stashed away , goosh this hobby is addictive better get it under control
