Well its been a while so I found something 'simple' lol.

As can be seen only 80 parts to contend with...

The main body parts are on the one tree, a small fret of chromed parts... A one piece body and rubber tyres (yippy).

A fret of clear for the erm.... Clear parts, and all the other bits of body and the "highly detailed" engine. (wink wink).

Got to play with my new toy too!.
Cheers!

That’s pretty stylish for a delivery van 🤩.

Good luck with your build Ian 👍

Never seen this kit before so will be nice to watch go together

Heller are normally OK, Plastic is sometimes a bit softer than most. but they do have some different kits. Worth a look if you like older cars too. Oh and they are cheap. lol. I often grab one to hit a free post limit. Have a look at their catalogue.

Started to throw some primer at it to
a, see if I could remember how. LOL
b, see if the airbrush still worked.
c, if the paint was still good.
the results are in.

a, sort of.
b, nope. spent more time stripping and cleaning
c, see b.
Managed to drop the nozzle and its holder as a single unit. I found the part that holds the actual nozzle, but the nozzle its selv. Hmmph. I will undoubtable find it be treading on it at some point.
To miffed to continue right now. maybe in a day or two.

News flash:
After an extensive search of the floor around the desk, the desktop (sure that they where together when dropped though). Found several used cotton buds, bits of sprue, rattle-can balls. (aka 'Tamiya marbles' which are the best). No nozzle!
Then I pulled up my chair to sit and sulk. There, in one of the groves on the seat it lay before me like a grinning grinning thing. Encrusted in primer, that badger stuff with a stupid name. Chucked it is a shot glass of thinners and had a coffee break.
Kit now primed; after a few 'faffing' episodes that is.

Good progress. Quite an unusual subject. Glad the nozzle turned up. Always amazes me just how clever the Carpet Monster is at hiding bits when he gets fed up with them 😄

I dont even have carpets! Its a good/bad thing. You can often here where things ping which eases the search, but the bits can also bounce!

Got a coat of Ivory white on the bodywork and now waiting for that to dry... Humbrol at its best!

Once I am happy with that, the read arches will be painted dark red along with the front wheel arches and the wheels....Wondering whether to do the running boards red as well.
