They do look a lot like each other to us mere mortals but to them in the know, the Tamiya on is an 18 ton and this 'only' a 12 ton.

Well how odd. I am waiting on two parcels. One from Poland with GLS the other from Jutland with the postal 'service'. Both Should have come today, however they have both been delayed in distributions centre... Weird.
One of them has paint in, the other a kit and more importantly GLUE! So I am at a point where there is not a lot I can get on with until one of the parcels turns up!
Today I got this far:
Points for creative clamping. 9/10.
The top picture the side part needed to be pulled down and the bottom one held in. I think there is a tiny bend or twist in the bed.
The one thing I can't clamp my way out of is the rear end of the side panels...
I can get the part down so it meets the 'mudguard' but that gives a step at the top and or a wedge shape gap where the side joins the back... I figured this will be the easiest to fix, a little dab filler along the bottom job done? we will see.
And yes both the Tamiya and the Mig Glue bottles are running on fumes.

I just need to remember to put the lid on tight and stop knocking it over.
I like the stuff from mig. Thin brush and sets up quick. But a tall round bottle... way to easy to tip over. I super-glued thus one to a square of plastic scrap.

Yeah! Paint arrived today. Only delayed two days!!!
So I got to spray the primer on. Now curing until tomorrow...
A few bits to sort with a hairy stick and a couple of bits to spray Black and some leather seats to sort out! Then its colour time.

Two days isn't too bad a delay. We have a few delays in the UK due to industrial action among postal workers.

Yes but did you get a message saying it is ready for delivery at 8am. Then another saying delayed at 14.30. Two days in a row!!!

Have 'Chipped' a bit here and there with masking fluid, and thrown some Dark Yellow paint at it.
While that dries and cures, I shall try to find a good camo for it.
Will go back at the other bits later....Gearbox. Tank and cable drum: Where they black?
Had a go at the tracks with oils and pigments over a 'steel grey' colour.... Hmm not convinced.
Now lunch!
