My second attempt at this kit, 10 years since the first one. Here's the old one in French markings:

I completed the latest build in the colours of the United Arab Emirates Air Force during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. All colours and varnishes used were Mr Color. Hopefully you can see a difference in the finish between the two...

Excellent work Joe. Another faultless result. Great model and some good photos to complement it.
Thanks Steve, I wouldn't call it faultless as there are always little things wrong or botched, but certainly looks better than the 10 year old version.

I like it alot. Think that I saw one at Waterkloof Airbase in SA back in the 80s.
Thanks Stefan, glad you like it. Must have been impressive to see a Mirage operating.

Cheers Tony, I'm glad I chose the UAE colours too.

That looks great Joe and she sits nicely in the line-up....

Cheers Nick, appreciate your comments

Cracking job Joe, nice to see some different markings too 🤩

Geoff.
Cheers Geoff. I was going to do the French desert scheme at first, but that back nose contrasting with the sandy colours won me over

Cracking job that 👏🏻 👏🏻👏🏻, giving me an itch to do one
Cheers Scott. I can't recommend this as a fun build, but certainly builds up okay with a few adjustments and patience. There are better Mirage 2000 kits out there for sure
