Because I am not overlooked by anybody, I can go one better then you and Jen by
walking about and modelling naked 😯 😂😂

How do you cope with the heat (or not)?
Really don't like the heat. Once it gets above about 22-23 degrees I start to get uncomfortable.
Living in the SE, (Kent) we do tend to get the worst of the heat, along with the South Coast and the SW.
My model making area is our small back bedroom, which gets full sun from about 2pm onwards, so gets quite hot.
We have a relatively new house (8 years old) so its very well insulated, which is great for winter, but once the house gets hot during the day in summer, it keeps hold of that heat for hours, and upstairs is usually hotter than downstairs, (heat rises, etc).
No we don't have air con, apart from a large portable one downstairs (which has to be near a window to vent).
I do have a large desk type fan on the window cill, but its a bit old and is quite noisy, plus it just blows the warm air around really, so not much of a cooling effect IMHO, (a little but not much)!
So the modelling tends to get put on hold for those very hot days, eg: whats forecast for the coming week.....
I tried to ignore the weather and carry on modelling,
I don't think I've ever made so many mistakes in one day 🙄😑🤐

Here in Shropshire today it has been hotter than ever but in the last hour or so the wind has got up, much more cloud and feels much, much cooler. Might even get to the bench tomorrow 👍

adds a whole new dimension to the carpet monster - especially with any pieces that jump after application of CA.

So so hot! It's armed forces weekend in Cleethorpes starts tomorrow, I'm planning on riding my bicycle the seven or so miles to see the Typhoon display at noon, I imagine travelling by car would be the usual gridlock and problems finding a parking place, but, the forecast is for more record breaking high temps so maybe I'll stay home sat beside my open fridge door keeping cool as I hear the distant rumble of EJ200 turbofan afterburners in the distance as I curse the weather!

Miko (keeping cool in a thermal rather than cultural sense! Ha!)
