The figure challenge group build will run from 01/06/2016 until 31/12/19, well done to the folks that signed up and for those that didn't there's plenty of room. Normal house rules apply any figures/busts entered must be unbuilt and unpainted prior to their entry, your first photo should be of the unbuilt kit.

Wow! 6 months to paint a figure...I'm in. Have lots in my stash and it'll be a good exercise to start and complete some figures for my planned dioramas.

A couple of questions, Jim.
Can we do multiple figures, i.e a group, or are we to do just one at a time stand alone?

Also can they (It) be incorporated into some sort of diorama should the builder wish to?

Hi Ron,
When I made the suggestion for this group build I mentioned a maximum of 10 figures which was a bit ambiguous, what I meant was you culd build as many as you want over the timespan but the maximum in a group should be 10 as to how you display them is up to you but if they are of a diorama then the building of any vehicles/buildings should not be part of the GB. For example I have a set of Stalingrad figures that will be used with as part of a diorama later on but I will only include the figures in the GB.

I would like to join Jim if I may. After extensive help and advice from Tim and George I am going to have my first attempt at 28mm figures. Its gonna be a train wreck but where better to crash and burn than on your GB :smiling5: . At least I will have fun and learn a great deal in the progress.

Just checking Jim. Is this build for any figure/small group in any scale, or is it limited to larger scales?

You can build in any scale in groups of no more than 10 or singular

Just wanted to say that I probably won't join in with the thread. As I build figures all the time anyway, and as this is a 'challenge' thread for those who don't normally venture into the dark side, I thought I'd just watch, enjoy and encourage. Some great stuff being done already.
