Hi Scott, the reason I asked about figures is I thought it would be cool to model the whole family (except Spot of course), using different scale pieces to create height for Herman and smaller scales for the more vertically challenged etc. Anyway, just an idea. I will be following the build when you decide to start it. Rick H.

Hi this lot was waiting for me when I got home from hospital after my lastest stay only 10 days this time.
Some nice oak display bases. No9 blades, the wash came from the forum shop :thumb2:
Something new to play with and make a mess with.
3mm foam bord, double tape, wet & dry paper, this lot is for this years sanding sticks (yes I make my own its miles cheaper)

Greetings , my visit to the Peterborough Show resulted in Nil , but from John in the Shop I received this little lot this morning.
First up some more water.
Then some more ice, this time with some reads in but in a full sheet to be cut as required.
Another shot to show how big.
You mark out, then cut with a Dremel , well I haven't got a diamond bit so will have to find another way.
Normal white primer, but the varnish is new to me, according to the reviews a much stronger and tougher skin, so I thought why not if using under oils.

I found these in my recycling centre shop still wrapped I got them for a fiver each
Did someone else not have a go at this version of the Nimitz recently? With a spectacular lack of success, IIRC? A fiver each is a bargain, though. Well done.

Hi something new to try out.

The good lady took me to Ikea last night for tis lot.
The three frames on the left are for the Toon GB ships.
I'm going to use the five on the right for all the Toon tanks and make some small dio bases this is just for startes I need ten more.

Looks to be some fun in store, as for the weather...has yet to get above freezing for the past 2 weeks. We should be around 5 or 6 during the day by now.
