£30 for the pair if them... bargain!!!

Lee

I considered one of the kits in that 1/16 figure line for my effort in the starter set group build, but decided on the Spad XIII instead, mostly because none of these ceremonial guard types appeal to me much.

Delivery by postie - another for my 1/72 FAA line up...................sea vixen.jpg

Had difficulty in getting this - at least at the right price! Loads of places selling at a low price, but all 'out of stock' - even the Far East suppliers. You can pick them up for £40+ on Amazon. but eventually found one at a reasonable price ( not ebay! ) Just waiting for a 1/72 Seahawk, and I will actually start making some carrier birds. I've given up ( for the moment ) on a 1/72 Scimitar!

Where can I get one Dave?

My second hand ebay won Scimitar arrived last week. It was expensive but with no release in sight I felt I could justify it! I also got £10 off it which lessened the blow.

From ebay UK, delivered today, just £8 plus postage........

A possible race car?

Build it for the starter set group build — it says so right on the box that it’s “for the beginner” :)

Not the cheapest cutters, but boy do the cut cleanly, my old cheap pair will be used for cutting the main plastic on the sprues.
Adhesive for trees,, better than the hairspray.
John.

My next victim, and a few primers to try out.

Unfortunately SMS only had enormous bottles of levelling thinner in stock so will have to see how I go with the regular one for now. My son needed a dark wash for his miniature painting so it gave me an excuse to try one out :smiling5:

I've admired the A-10 since I was a kid so it was on my wishlist of models to build. Need to scratch my head now and think about what's next.

Postie just delivered this, the fifth part of my FAA builds........hbseahawk.jpg

As usual at a good price!

I have plans to build the 1/32 Revell Me262 B-1a so obviously i need to have a few AM bits to spruce it up a little. So i got the Eduard cockpit set, HGW seatbelts and Montex masks for the canopy and to replace the decals. All this cost me more then it cost me to buy the kit lol

Oh, some great goods for the stash there everybody!!! My stash really doesn't need anymore stuff, but, For €14 to the door, I couldn't resist this evilbay deal,
IMG_1726.JPG
An oldie and the resin tires came with it. I'll probably get to build this around 2027 with any luck!

Not getting the correct kit from another evilbay seller and the whole deal made me want the KHD Maultier even more so,

The correct kit and it only was €4,50 more. 2025 build date for this one....I also got a few needed goodies along with it,

Some Tamiya paints are always good to have and a wash recommended by Tim Marlow for my attempt at the figure painting GB. Sanding sticks were a very cool thing too. I can not resist a good price for a set of Friul Panther sprockets either. Giuseppe from Friul doesn't bring any of the sprockets or idlers to the SMC, just tracks. Lastly, the much needed cable for my Steyr 2000 to fill the reels behind the front seats and for the field phone reel……...

I also have a few more goodies in the post on their way here. Dang evilbay, I must stay away, I really must stay away.........…….
