Scale Model Shop

Latest Acquisitions (2020)

Hi Karl, Don't know if this is what you want, but HZ does make an oil paint tube holder. Model HZOM050 and holds 28 tubes,

Hope this helps. John should stock them in his store......

I have seen those, but I would like something to hang on the wall, maybe I'll have a think once the new bench is built........

I will try and go step by step when I make this one. The instructions are the best I have ever seen (yet to know if they truly make sense), and the parts look immaculate.
As I’m still toying with the idea of putting an M4 medium tank on a flat wagon, and I’ve been informed the Allies would have used German ones when they happened to have them, I think I’ll follow your building of this, if you post about it here :)

More for me to read:

The Clausewitz magazine was given to me by someone who had a surplus (“I have two copies, that’s really two too many”, as he put it :)), the books I bought second-hand from the legacy of another modeller who passed away a while ago.

Slowly building up my stash.

Keep going Paul, just sorted through mine and believe it or not - I have 6 kits in there that
do not have bar codes on the boxes!! :flushed: :flushed:

You're a lucky dog Jack. I've been trying to get the SVP double pack of the OMMR for a long time for my ongoing Project. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for it......

My friend found a store about 45 kms away that stocks the Vallejo products and we made a visit. Needed things,

Now of course with all these wing thingy paints, I needed somewhere to put them as my racks are all full. Hobby Zone to the rescue,

They hang on the wall over my other racks. The left one is for 26mm bottles and the right one is for 36mm bottles..........

Now to keep me from buying more kits, I won some helpers from evilbay to bring me in line, with force, if necessary!!!

The 3rd guy from the left is PO'd with my kit buying and the 2 guys with paddles want to beat me if I buy any more.............No Kits!!!!!!

...and the first to the right is checking your wish list with conspicuous disappointment...:disappointed2:

Well,my curiosity for unusual looking,(to me anyway),Allied stuff is still growing!
Once again it comes in Canadian guise rather than British, but it was too much for me to turn down! Looks a very nicely detailed kit, with one helluva lot of parts!!
What a funky bus............

Rather pleased with this,my latest Ebay raid!
Cheers,
Andy
Nice win Andy, it’s a lovely kit of a surprisingly tall vehicle (we have one in Overloon)

A wet & windblown postie just delivered this..........................
ICM t-34 and riders.jpg
Not the most inspiring of boxarts, but what you have is a later production T34/76, with the riders in winter gear. Downside is the vinyl tracks, but I have a set of MiniArt replacements. Less than £20 delivered, from ebay, ordered Sunday, delvered Tuesday...............

I totally forgot that I pre-ordered these 2 months ago and they arrived Monday. Needed for my V2 project which will be starting back up shortly. Very finely molded parts, plastic multi-part tires and some options for super detailing too!!!

These also arrived this week (No Kits, No Kits, No Kits) and are needed for when I retire,

HI Paul yea i got one similar to this but all my magnifiers are built in an hinge down an up but the head clasp at the back is not very good an soon broke off an i had to fix it with tape but all in all fairly good but im like rick ive been usein one for yrs but only bought the new one as my old one glass got scratched from wipein it clean over the yrs but as he says would'nt be without it an the lights angle left an right or straight ahead an it certainly saves eye strain

Postie brought me some tools today.

Been meaning to get some etch tools for a while now and I have 2 kits with a lot of etch so I bit the bullet and bought these. The pin vice is to replace the one I had that has vanished. I am sure a relative of the carpet monster comes to visit and leaves with something every time. Now that I have a new one I fully expect the old one to turn up.

Andy.
