(I was good, I did buy her an overlooking foot for her sewing machine!)

Still means as much to me as a Higgins boat probably does to her Lee LOL.....

Tim, I know mate, the overlocking foot cuts the excess fabric off whilst sewing... typically when stitching the end of a trouser leg or even the bottom of a t-shirt, curtains, duvets... etc etc

(Best get this back on track before a mod steps in... nag nag nag! :flushed: :tears-of-joy: )

The rest of my evilBay sins have shown up so I thought I would share them with you..... clockwise from the left a 1931 M.B. L5 fueler,
another 1929 M.B. N56 3 axel heavy truck, a M.B. coach that will make a fine conversion into a Red Cross personnel transport and a late twenties, early thirties Magirus omnibus. YIP, YIP, YIP and YAHOO!:smiling3: Rick H.P1011576.JPG :smiling3:

A bit annoyed that I got into a bidding war for this, still not too far from RRP though.

i have wanted these for a while but everywhere I looked was out of stock. I happended to be flicking through an Axminster Tools catalogue and lo and behold, they had some. Only ordered on Thursday so pretty good service.

as an aside, my children (In their 20's) were amazed When I told them that buying mail order in the 70's could mean waiting 28 days so the cheque would clear - how times have changed!

Been watching this for a week. Placed first bid on it and it won. Got this for 70% of the RRP. Quite chuffed. This is now my buying done for the year.

OOOOoooooo, "P.E."..... moving up in the world Lee. Good luck with this when you start it, being a Tamiya kit....it should go together well for you. The late G model is one of my fav. Panthers. Rick H.

These came this afternoon glue bottle stand and mug.
I like the reverse side.

Pete.

Well the Santa list was confirmed today - guess I'm getting the new Italeri 1/32 Tornado kit, Revell's 1/32 Spitfire kit, and Airfix's Avro Vulcan B.2 1/72 kit is on pre-order :thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::thumb2::cool::smiling4:

Someone is going to need a bigger shelf.

Hate to break it to you Rick but I’ve used PE on 1/25 Trucks since I was first introduced to it by my older brother in the late 80s early 90s. Using it on dashboards, engines, mirrors and extreme detail parts on semi trucks in 1/25 scale. I just avoid it when can.

Like the Plague!.....I use it only when there is not an alternative......in this scale the stuff is like razor blades and is very unforgiving. The thing I dislike most is it 's one dimensional look......very flat and it is too small to build up into a multidimensional assembly. Rick H.
