I've checked it - the engine & rear suspension have been very neatly assembled ( no paint ), the rest is still in bags, or on the sprue, including the decals & transparencies. For the total of £10.50 delivered, I think this is another bet that's paid off!

WOW!!! You folks have got some really great stuff for the stash and projects. The only thing missing from all these goodies, is what I ended up with,

Dat's right, all I got was the kitchen sink!!!.......The first part of my re-modelling project in the apartment...No Kits, no kits, no kits!!! I've been a good boy...................Somebody slap me......................

Another Spitfire cause you can never have too many and I “won” the Typhoon for £4 on eBay :smiling3:

Found these two in a vintage model shop nearby, seemed rude to let them stay there in a cold storage:smiling:

'Hooray!

Finally arrived: my new glasses - 3 pairs:

View attachment 454189
top pair - driving
middle pair - reading
bottom pair - modelling. They are bi-focals, the top section is for distance (so I can watch TV). The lower section a magnifying glasses. I took one of my busts into the optician with me and this pair are designed to focus at my comfortable modelling distance,

looked at a few models and these new lenses really show up some blemishes so they will either totally depress me or (hopefully) help to improve my modeling.

i had my second cataract done on March 25th and have not done any real modelling since them - so really excited to get back to the bench.

Peter

I'd kill for catapult already having the Arado kit, Fernando. ..jealous but looking forward to the build. I think Vaughan did a nice build of one some time ago.

Cheers,
Richard
