Don't ask Andrew  have no idea what or where it was used, perhaps some wingy person can enlighten us.:anguished:

Andrew, Lee, Ron and Mark, Thanks for the encouragement and I don't know about this exquisite taste though Ron...I'm more beer and pretzels myself. I still haven't tried it out either.............

I did place another order with them for my last pressie and got this lot today,

Gonna be playing in the dio scene shortly and I needed the chrome pen for the landing gear on my Arado 234B-2N. Next set of pressies' are for the apartment. New couch, bed, a display cabinet, sink and a new coat of paint on the walls and ceiling..........The joys of retirement.........

A cheeky bid and its mine

Hasagawa, 1 350 IJN Mikasa,

First issue, comes with figure of Admiral Togo, print and medal.

Upside down, what on earth is happening ???? (I have turned the picture round for you).

Not a kit, but a good reference document and an enjoyable reading, including a Panzer-style chute and ladder game.

Bought on-line from Bovington Tank Museum shop: it took almost one month from order to delivery (delay expected having chosen the normal mail option instead of a courier) and, above all, almost 25€ extra I had to pay to the postman due to custom taxes. :crying:
Maybe that's one of the reasons why Humbrol enamels are slowly but steadily thinning out ( :rolling: ) from the LHS shelves down here. (The other possible reason could be the still ongoing re-organization of logistics from UK to UE, further hindered by pandemic "collateral damages").

Or the helmsman was new to the job lol

Pre dreadnoughts are my fav, love the way every bit of space has a gun fitted, must have been a nightmare storing all the different ammo!

Did you know the Mikasa was built by Vickers in Barrow in Furness? She's actually still in existence in Yokosuka, as a museum ship ( I saw her there in the 1980's )
