Something new to try when figure painting. I use a wet palette but have seen quite a few painters using them

Yep Tim, the paper has a plastic type feel to it and you can use both side apparentlyInteresting Mick, I assume it’s a paper type disposable dry palette?
I had a DIY wet palette but the dish was too deep, SWMBO bought me an Army Painter one for being goodI've just bought my first proper one recently to Mick. But before that I made a DIY one as a test from an old shallow rectangular lunchbox, done kitchen sponge and some greaseproof paper. It took a bit of getting used to but it worked surprisingly well and keep the paint useable for about a week!
Not to try and put a damper on that, but the Resicast BARV instructions say it’s intended for the Tasca (=Asuka) M4A2 kit. I suppose you can make it fit the Dragon one, but it’ll probably be more work. Or do you specifically want to build a BARV on a Fisher-built M4A2 hull, which is what the Dragon kit represents?I have the resicast barv kit on order, this is to be the doner kit for it;

If the box has been good, this would have been at a collectors price, but I got this for just over £19 delivered - that is why you see empty kit boxes fetching good prices, to complete a collectors' model! - which is why I search Ebay for 'damaged box', or 'no box', 'started' - items which don't attract collectorsscalemodelling.co.uk is a privately operated online discussion forum.
