1kg of Silver 1.75mm PLA ( 330m ). The prices have dropped over the last two months! Highest price I paid, in May, was £13.99, the price I paid for this was £11.99 delivered

I already had the power cars in the later grey livery I have two of each so I have to now source the correct paint
Called Nanking blue I believe. Someone like Railmatch or Phoenix precision should do it…..might be in old fashioned enamels though.

As I said in my Albatros W.4 post, I did a little retail therapy to try and screw my head back on straight. The first one from evilbay was easy, but the second one from evilbay was a big brain fart on my part........The first was cheap at €38.50 + postage, 2 weeks ago,

Got some Friuls already built to replace the rubber bands in the box. The next purchase was 2 auctions running out 1 minute apart. At Stammheim, I had bought some Quinta Studio decals for vehicles, but I didn't have a kit for one of the sets. The two kits came up and the first one was this,

I threw a bid on it and went directly to bid on the second kit, not waiting to see if I had won it. The second kit was this,

I just needed the Kfz. 4 or the Kfz. 1 for the decals. I won this kit and went back and saw I had won the other kit too!!! I only needed one vehicle and ended up with 4 vehicles. DOH!!!...Brain fart from hell......2 kits will go back in evilbay for sure.....Retail therapy from MBK was also needed and they finally got this in stock,

I also got the 3D printed tires for my Fugliest Schwimmwagen as I hate the rubber ones that are in the kit. Lastly, I finally cleared my wish and grabbed this 4 days ago off evilbay. It's for my Zeebrugge project and was cheaper than you may think,

The funny thing was the seller sold it to finance a WNW Felixstowe 2a kit (the plane in the background). If I had known that we could have made a trade as I have the Felixstowe 2a in the stash and will never build it because it is too big!!!...Crazy world......

Not particularly exciting, but essential for the Zero build I’m doing…..

Supplied by John in his usual speedy and efficient manner…..the metallic blue is the aircraft wheel well etc colour for those that don’t know…..and a 50/50 mix of RLM02 and Hemp apparently gives the correct airframe colour…..
Oh, the dark colour is the cowling and the clear blue is to enable me to do the wingtip lights.

That was absolutely not my intention Andy. If I have offended you in any way it has been completely unintentional and I apologise wholeheartedly.
Sorry Tim, reading my comment back it seems to be aimed soley at you, which it wasn't.

The forum as a whole is rife with unsolicited "advice", which I find absolutely outrageous, no wonder it's banned on most other groups. I'm obviously in a minority though as many seem to be fine with it. I was encouraged to come back to the forum but unfortunately I can't keep turning the other cheek, so better if I just disappear into the background, rather than spoil the generally friendly atmosphere around here.

I intend to hang around as there's some great members here and amazing work to behold, far better than I could ever hope to achieve, but my autistic personality just doesn't interact with people well.

Latest Amazon bargain, a shade under £11 delivered.

However Amazon’s idea of packaging left a lot to be desired

Some crushing to the box and one cracked canopy was the result of this “robust”envelope.
Fortunately it is the closed canopy option which was damaged which I wouldn’t have used anyway, otherwise it would be going back.

I ordered the P-51 B/C Mustang Expert Set (70038) whilst we were away on holiday after your purchase, so I had it sent to my mums.......hoping it's better packed than yours!

The expert set version I ordered first was better packed so hopefully yours will be too.
I was quite shocked hen the second one turned up in what amounts to a paper bag :anguished:. Combined with Arma Hobby’s quite flimsy box I’m surprised to get away with just a cracked canopy.

Not good at all was it!
