How are the withdrawl classes going, still getting the shakes in the middle of the night, hearing the stugs calling you from afar, sweaty armpits as you pass the models for sale sections.....It's official Al, I am Stug less, not a kit and steady selling the many books!
Dave, remember those days before c/a, when all that was available was Araldite for sticking together these kits....Never could get on with white metal kits - I could manage WM accessories, like Aeroclub engines & props, but complete kits, I could never get a satisfactory finish............
Dave
But had to pass 6 bakers before you got to Lidl's - yes, we all use that excuse....
I'd like Lidl and Aldi here in Italy do the same... unfortunately they do not :unamused:

Actually, you could also solder them together. It was quicker and gave better finish. You could also improve pitted surfaces with it. Much stronger too. Once I learned how to do that there was no turning back.Dave, remember those days before c/a, when all that was available was Araldite for sticking together these kits....
I followed your advice and sent a email to Aldi also suggesting that Airfix is not the only possible choice here in Italy... finger crossed and knocking on wood. How about message their HQs and mention what the UK does.....point out the fantastic sales opportunities!!![]()
No one beats Tamiya box art - there is something very quaint yet modular about them. I’m not even into boats but this box art and contents look awesomeEvening
Some very small boats
Sadly?
Yes, I was hoping for a trade with Bob! A Stug book for my floaty thing book!Sadly?
