Gotta agree with you there buddy,
Although vauxhall's build quality during the eighties and nineties did nothing to reaasure folk they were getting a 'decent' car for their money, and then old Clarkson started his 'I hate Vauxhall's ' thing, and a lot of folk followed without actualy owning or driving one.
A friend of mine, upon seeing the new 'Grand Sport' pics at the Geneva motorshow back in 2017 swore blind it was a new BMW, right until the 'badge' was revealed.

I had several of it's predecessors, the Cavalier, as company cars, and was always impressed by what you get for your company's money.

Bought this cheap plastic tray, mostly for sanding as I can easily wipe it off and thus keep my desk clean. Also some Milliput for future experiments with figures...

A 'freebie' courtesy of Amazon Vine, little clips marketed as ideal for Gundam kits to identify which frame is which. Only used on an Airfix Spitfire frame so far, and given there are only two it's probably overkill, but I did need a 'model' for my review which is part of the deal!IMG_5711.jpg

As I will be overseas for my birthday on the 22nd and Christmas I received my pressies today and what a lucky chap am I to have such a generous family.

Working at school can sometimes be extremely hazardous, I was therefore given a First Aid box to help me self-remedy in extreme cases. This, therefore, is my latest acquisition ... IMG_0865.jpg IMG_0866.jpg

Last purchases of the year

A few reasons for buying them

Both were a tenner each so great value......yes i know they are old.......panzer is 1971 and jeep is 1974.......but i have done both of them many times, especially the jeep.... .and enjoyed them every time

Im planning a little run of Afrika Korp vehicles so this will be a cheapo way of starting......and the jeep?....great little kit that has so many options you could do half a dozen times and no two would look the same.....think this will be the fifth or sixth time ive done it......and somewhere i still have the first one i did over 40 years ago

That Araldite dispenser is neat! I've not used Araldite in years, but memories of trying to squeeze out equal amounts!

Those two bring back a few memories for me too Paul.....
