We have our caravan on a seasonal pitch in York, they are what I took Easter bank holiday
Squirrel has brought a friend, I can’t work out why some people can’t upload images.

A few new kits, hoping these will help me get over 6 months of mojo loss.

A set of aftermarket decals for my heller 1/72 707 as I don't trust the kit ones
And some N gauge buildings as I will be starting a layout this year IMG_20240102_121124.jpgIMG_20240102_121826.jpg

First delivery of the year - an ebay win. not the cheapest, but I haven't seen this for a long time

............and it's still shrink wrapped - late 70's - I wonder where it's been for nearly 50 years?

What are the National markings on that one Dave? I don’t recognise them.

Early delivery from postie

Not ebay, but a pre-owned site <£15 delivered - a short run kit. Blue Max, fom Whitstable - they vanished around 2005ish

Got the usual bit of cash from Mum and Dad for Christmas with the instructions of 'make sure you buy something you want, not something you need.'

Well I definitely don't need one of these. Popped up on Amazon for less than £100 so thought why not.

A quick and clumsy play so far and I can already tell it's going to be a game changer. Every attempt at a diorama seems to go wrong, I get frustrated, and it ends up in the bin. At least I'll be able to get the basic shapes right now.

2 ebay auction purchases arrived today

wish the box looked like this! Very battered, decals scratched <£10 delivered - and it smells very musty!

Not the cheapest buy, <£24 delivered!

Adding to my collection of Spanish Civil War aircraft postie dropped this off

Two SCW aircraft that are a bit elusive ( at least, at the right price ), are the Heinkel He-112 and the Arado Ar-68. The Republican AF needs a I-153 'Chaika', and a I-16 'Mosca', but those are pretty common. A lot of obscure planes were used, some of which have appeared as resins, vacforms or short run models, but usually attract silly prices!

Some wooden decking for my next ship build and no it doesn't begin with a t it begins with a L and I will leave it there IMG_20240105_161451.jpg
