Being sick of painting then despite covering everything over, I still find dust in some of the paint.
The curse of building 'clean' ships and shiny cars/bikes.
I have some clear storage tote thingies I use if I want a really clean finish. sort of works.

A paint stirring rod????????
To me thats a tooth pick 😆
I swear this hobby has so many things to spend money on, only out done by fishing and golf 😆
Yeah but, no but, yeah but..... they are NICE and POSH stirring rods..... and I wanted them, so there! :p

You are right though, fishing bits, yep got too many of them... Golf, yep, been there, done that, plus Motorbikes, Tools, other sports, eg: Squash, Cycling, then I had a camping/bushcraft phase. so lots of bits for that, and then there's the current main hobby, Airgun target shooting, that's a whole other Rabbit hole thats easy to slip down,..... and I have!
Oh, and I forgot photography that's another relatively new one for me, and yes I have bought far too many "bits" for it...

Blokes and hobbies, its a marketing Man's wet dream....

As a long term photographer I can attest to the expense of that particular hobby.
Printing at home is exceptionally expensive when a set of ink cartridges cost in the region of £150.
Our cabin cruiser moored at St Pancras basin wasn't exactly a cheap pastime either

Heres a short story lol
So i said in last post i had another spit on order at hobbycraft, id ordered it online as i also wanted the hasegawa weopons set..... I have an italeri A10 which dossnt come with any payload and hobbycraft have recently started to sell various different weopon sets and this looked the most suitable, but its only order online to collect in store which is why i ordered the spit at same time........ But the last few days its been 'processing' but ive not been in any hurry

Then they sent me another voucher today!...... Fiver off if you spend 20 quid.... So i decided to stock up on some consumables...... I like the sanding sticks, especially when they are reduced to 1.50!!
Didnt plan buying any kits but the Tie fighter was only 7 quid..... Ive always thought this range must be cheap and nasty but im quite impressed with whats in the box..... Low parts count but its @6inch tall, 5 inch long and looks nicely moulded....... The little trowel thing is meant for oil/acrylics paint where they splodge it on the canvas, buts brilliant for applying filler cos you can get in with little ammounts....... I broke my last one, but have a flat spade shaped one as well cos they come in about a dozen shapes and sizes.... Well worth a fiver

Got to the checkout to pay and asked if there was a reason why my online order was slow..... She looked on the system then pulled it out of the click n collect cupboard!!..... Someones not updated the system lol but hey ho saves another journey..... Im expecting a text saying its ready to collect

The Bandai/Revell are reboxing aren’t they? In which case, the At-At and AT-ST (as per my avatar) are well done - and I never feel the need to stick to the paint scheme for a fictional subject - go rogue with the scheme!
