I was wondering, did the germans ever have any 100% automated gun crews? I only ask this as I detest painting figures :( haha

How is the Italeri Gripen out of curiosity? Saw one a few weeks ago and was thinking of getting it. Good kit? Raised panel lines?

A little mini-mini review of the gripen just for you simon:

Three sprues in the now normal light grey and a little sprue of clear parts.

The parts are nicely engraved with the few panel lines there are on this type. Wheel bays are nicely detailed with loads of cables and little boxes and the such (tech term).

One of the three sprues are the weapons. The fuselage is a left and right two part. The lower wing is one part and forms the underbelly of the fuselage. The top wings are, well just that!

The decals look ok and the options are for a Swedish aircraft with normal colour also low-vis. There are also low-vis markings for a Czech machine.

At first glance I will say it looks like a nice little kit and should look the part once built.

Fantastic! Thanks very much Ian! I'm definitely going to be getting it now! Feel it's a kit that no half swede should be without!

p.s. for once I managed to understand the tech terms! I must be making progress!

Thanks again!!

Nearly brought another Tiger but i was good, for the price of the Tiger i brought a M4 Sherman and Subaru Impreza WRC. The Impreza is for the GB now i just need to settle on the photo i'm going to use.Have fun, John
That Impreza looks nice. Now theres a non-military subject in the GB! :cowboy:

Nice choice for the GB John, good to see that its not going to be all green and grey.

I picked this up today:

I had it earmarked for the next in the 74 squadron line up, but they didn't fly this type! Oh well I will just have to find another one :-)

Hi geedad , the commando jeep got finnished about 3-4 months ago the thread is on here somewhere mate , the mclaren m23 is still in the stash , the br is great but still tend to use my old cr more often than not , as for the camera - its pants mate , ok for family pics etc ( wifes got it now ) but close ups of models is a no no but not is all lost as I finally sussed out the micro thingy on my old canon powershot ,

I should really post up what I`m doing at the moment , got 6 projects on the go - kawasaki ninja , dragon firefly , F1`s - ferrari F60 , Lotus type79 , Lotus 99t , Mclaren mp4/13 test version , bombing along nicely with all of them but not sure their would be a lot of interest showing the F1 builds untill finnished .

cheers

Richy
