Just got hold of a Tamiya P-51D Mustang 9thAF, limited edition kit, it came with an Aires detail set including engine, guns, cockpit and landing gear, Eduard piant masks and Eduard PE set PLUS another P-51 Mustang ICM kit all for £25, which I thought was a really good price. Just wondering about the resin stuff thats been painted , can I use oven cleaner to strip it as I can paint a little better than the previous owner :)

A good week this week.

I finally got hold of a T2 conversion for the Airfix Jaguar in 1/48. No pictures as I am not packing every thing out until I'm ready to start.

The other good one was this.

Got this little bargin off Ebay for just £6.60, was looking at buying the £55 Tamiya one but now glad I waited, I know it won't be the same detail but when I am trying to collect as many WWII 1:48th as I can not everyone can be a £50 kit :)

Nice bargain Ade.These old Esci kits can be made into nice models. If it was mine I would just add some after market seat belts to it.

I'll most likely make some out of tin foil, the sort from pie trays, I know most use tape but I like foil as I can leave it unpaint for the silver buckles :)
